Joined the rest

I have finally joined the rest of the world and decided to start blogging.  I first discovered this when a teacher-friend of mine from another school introduced me to her blog.  I since have discovred and used many new ideas in my classroom that were posted on others blogs.  I love sharing ideas with other teachers.  I believe that this is one way we can improve our teaching skills and help the children learn.  Helping children succeed and realize their full potential is one of my top priorities.  I love school and teaching.  In fact, I have just this week finished my final paper for my Specialist in Education degree from Tennessee Technological University.  This concludes my formal schooling...but I will always be a life-long learner because I love to learn new and exciting things. 

I hope that you will visit often and find many ideas that you, too, can incorporate into your classroom.
